Connection is integral to the work we do at Pacekids. The connection between each of us as a team, the connection we share with the families we serve, and the connections we have with our community partners.
COVID-19 has presented the entire world with the challenging task of connecting with one another, from a distance. We are proud of the willingness of our staff and families to embrace platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams to continue to nurture these important connections.
In the last month, Pacekids’ staff have used 204,776 Zoom meeting minutes and nearly 2,600 Microsoft Teams interactions to continue the connection across our team and with our families.
We are grateful for the support of our amazing community partners such as Calgary Foundation and the Pandemic Recovery Program which helped make transitioning to online program delivery possible.
As we continue to navigate this unprecedented time, Pacekids will remain committed to embracing technology resources to foster these crucial connections.
