Ten years ago, Geeta walked through the front doors of Pacekids to a much-needed feeling. She felt hope for her daughter, Jeeya.
At six months old, Jeeya began having prolonged seizures and was diagnosed with a rare condition that changed everything. Jeeya’s condition caused delays in speech, motor, and social development.
Through all the ambulance rides, long hospital visits, and countless appointments, Geeta feared Jeeya would not have the chance to learn and grow like every child deserves.
From those confident first few steps into our school, to her enrollment in our Community and In-Home programming, Jeeya spent the next decade flourishing, supported by our caring team and donors like you.
