His hard work has paid off and the company is ready to make contributions to the community. Impact of Keeping Pace Every spring, Pacekids hosts an extravagant dance competition unlike anything else in Calgary. This annual fundraiser allows us to raise money to support Pacekids programming by filling faps in funding we do not receive from government budgets. Preparing to send a child to school for the first time is a crucial milestone for a parent. And the decision of where to attend school is important. This is especially the case for children with special needs requiring specialized intervention services. At Pacekids, we have teams across two schools in Calgary that are here to support and guide you through this milestone. With Pacekids PUF programming, children in the Calgary area can access our Early Childhood Services (ECS) Preschool and Kindergarten program. Will for Riding Foundation Generously Supports Pacekids’ Transportation Program

What is the Will for Riding Foundation? The Will for Riding Foundation was established in 2013 to provide therapeutic horseback riding sessions to children with physical, mental, and sensory disabilities ages 3-18 years old. In December 2019, Shelley Hilderman, the Founder & President of Will for Riding passed away. Even though the organization has now dissolved, Shelley and her legacy continue to impact the Calgary community. Pacekids had the privilege of serving Shelley’s son, William, who was the driving force behind the creation of the Foundation. William was in the Pacekids’ ECS Program.
