To help our community keep learning during the current COVID-19 pandemic, Pacekids is excited and proud to offer two complimentary Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) seminars online. The seminars will be offered via ZOOM and will be password protected and secure. You get the same great service and information, but from the comfort of your home!
The two Triple P sessions we are offering will provide real world information and may be of value to parents, or any individual working with children with disabilities under the age of 12. People are encouraged to attend either seminar that is of interest to them or both!
Space is limited, so please register soon! You can book your free tickets through Eventbrite (links below)

- Choosing rewards.
- Deciding on when and where to teach.
- Using effective teaching strategies.
- Keeping track and review.
Changing Problem Behaviour into Positive Behaviour
August 20, 2020; 9:30am – 11:30am MDT
Parents are often uncertain how to manage problem behavior in ways that help children learn alternative and more adaptive behavior to take its place. Parents are introduced to the six key steps of how to do this. The steps covered include:
- Tracking the behavior.
- Understanding why the behavior is occurring.
- Changing events that occur before the problem.
- Encouraging alternative behavior.
- Removing accidental rewards.
- Putting the plan into action.
A link for the Zoom event and password will be emailed to the registrants one day prior to the seminar(s).
